Can anyone give me a clear idea about projectile motion ?

anything that is shot off, lauched, accelerated into the air is projectile motion. bullets, base, throwing random physic objects at different angles to see how far they go, how high they reach, how long they last in the air. projectile motion has its backing in newtonian physics. one would use newtonian laws to calculate such variables.
