Chavez Sr. doesn't get his due respect.?

I have always been a fan of Chavez and always will be. He defended his title every three months for ten years against the number one contender. No one else that i know of in the sport can top that unless i missed someone. I just don't understand why he is never in the discussion of top ten or twenty fighters of all time? If I bring his name up anymore people act like he couldn't fight. Am I the only one who thinks he was one of the greats?
