Should I watch "The Evil Dead" and "Evil Dead 2?"?

if you like Drag Me to Hell, then odds are you'll love them. warning, they aren't sequels, they're remakes of the exact same movie. I don't think they really any gorier / scarier. They are much lower budget and with worse acting. But that's half the fun. Good flicks.
