Where can i find the ECM on my 1996 ford bronco XLT?

i need to find this out because my transmission's timing is off. and i heard from some people who build their broncos up that it is because of the ECM. i cant seem to find it, i know what it looks like but i don't know where it is. please help, it is important because its messing up my transmission.
