Why do teachers look at me when explaining things?

I often find that teachers look at me during lecturings, or explaining projects and activities. It happens all the times, but i noticed it alot with my homeroom/reading/social studies teacher last year. And already i'm noticing it happening with my homeroom/spanish/social studies teacher this year. Is there a reason the teachers look at me?
